H.E Mr. Tha Htay, the chairperson of Constitutional Tribunal of the Union and Mr. Kyaw San, member of the Constitutional Tribunal of the Union, participated to 5th Congress and Board of Members Meeting of the Association of Asian Constitutional Courts and Equivalent Institutions (AACC) which held in Ulaanbaartar, Mongolia, on 18 and 19 August via videoconferencing.
The theme of 5th Congress is “Development of Constitutional Justice in Asia” which was hosted by the Constitutional Court of Mongolia, and is the President of AACC.
In the 5th Congress, the Chairmen, Chief Justices, Presidents of the Constitutional Courts, Councils and Chambers from 17 member countries of AACC and Legal Professionals joined and exchanged their experience. The chairperson of the Constitutional Tribunal of the Union presented the title of “The Constitutional Review in Challenging Time”.
Board of Members Meeting(BOMM) continued on 19 August. The Chief Justice, Chairperson and President of the Constitutional Court, Council and Chamber from 20 member countries of AACC and Legal Professionals from International Institutions and Guests attended that meeting.
